Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital’s general ward gets a facelift

Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital in Chennai on Monday inaugurated its newly renovated general ward, supported through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contribution from HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC).

The renovated ward was inaugurated by Alok Sheopurkar, head-CSR, HDFC AMC, in the presence of hospital trustees and staff. According to the press release, the renovation project, completed at a cost of approximately ₹40 lakh includes modernised patient rooms with child-friendly motifs and renovated bathrooms. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sheopurkar reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting socially relevant causes. Janani Sankar, medical director, and Sankar Ramani, head of fundraising for the hospital, expressed their gratitude to HDFC AMC.
