A short afternoon CME with the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Chennai City Branch, held at KKCTH on 10th July 2026. The session covered a panel discussion on a difficult pneumonia case, moderated by Dr Janani Sankar with panelists Dr Sumanth, Dr Dhanalakshmi, Dr Vivekanand and Dr Priya Ramachandran, followed by a talk on vaccine selection by Dr Lakshmi Prashanth. Academic grant supported by Pfizer.

Intensive PG Training Programme
A full-day, exam-focused training programme for pediatrics postgraduates conducted at KKCTH on 12th July 2026. Sessions were moderated by senior faculty and covered case discussions, OSCE practice, ward-round tips and viva voce preparation.

- Nutritional Assessment
- Enzyme Dosing Strategies
- Recognize both classic and atypical presentations of cystic fibrosis.
- Interpret sweat chloride testing, genetic reports, and CFTR variants.
- Optimize respiratory, nutritional, and multidisciplinary management strategies.
- Understand eligibility criteria and current indications for CFTR modulator therapy.
- Develop a structured multidisciplinary care pathway for children with CF.
- Gain hands-on experience with airway clearance devices and inhalation systems.
